Film and 1927

Central to 1927s vision is the exploration of the relationship between live performer & animation.  Combining live performance with handcrafted original animation and film we strive to create dynamic filmic performance where the seemingly disparate elements of live performance and animation work in a minutely choreographed harmony.  

As a company comprised of live performance makers and animators we also make short films, commission young artists to create new films and collaborate with participants via our Creative Engagement participatory activities to co-commission and co-create animated film works.
