This autumn a kaleidoscope of aesthetic universes collides!
The curtain opens, a candle is lit, and the poet Hoffmann begins to tell the story.
Together with him and the muse, who always protects his inspiration from running out, the audience immerses themselves in the poet's bizarre and fantastic stories - and their implementation by four very different artists:

To create a brand-new staging of Jacques Offenbach’s Opera Fantastique Tales of Hoffman for Graz Opera .
Premieres Graz Opera 30 September 2023
Running in repertoire until January 2024.
The Olympia act of the opera has been directed by Esme Appleton (1927) Animation and design Paul Barritt (1927) Associate director (chorus) Genevieve Dunne.
