Our second opera with the Komische Oper Berlin is a large scale double of Stravinsky’s ballet Petrushka and Ravel’s opera L’enfant et les Sortileges. We approached the ballet element by using circus performers in a riot of animation and wild circus skills. The show is revived regularly and can be seen in Hamburg in Autumn 2026.

"The skill of the synchronization between performer and screens is eye-popping, and the cleverness of the whole conception is frankly alarming. Creators Suzanne Andrade, Esme Appleton and Paul Barritt combine forces to fill the viewer with a sense of riveted wonder beyond mere technical wizardry." Bachtrack
